IMU Kolkata accepts Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) scores for admission to BTech in Marine Engineering. IMUCET Round 3 cutoff is out, and as per the data, the closing rank for BTech in Marine Engineering was 2573 for the students belonging to the OBC AI category. The Round 1 cutoff for the same course stood at 2043. So, considering both the rounds, candidates must secure a rank up to 2573 to be eligible for IMU Kolkata admission to BTech in Marine Engineering.

IMU Mumbai accepts Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) scores for admission to BTech in Marine Engineering. IMUCET Round 2 cutoff is out and as per the data, the closing rank for BTech in Marine Engineering was 898 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The Round 1 cutoff for the same course was 475. So, considering both the rounds, stundent with a rannk of 3000 will not be eliginle to get admission at IMU Mumbai for BTech in Marine Engineering.

IMU Chennai accepts ranks from the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMUCET) for BTech in Marine Engineering admission. The IMUCET Round 3 cutoff has been out. As per the data, the closing rank for BTech in Marine Engineering was 1343 for the students belonging to the General AI category.
However, with regard to the cutoff of Round 3, candidates belonging to the General AI category will have to get a rank upto 1343 or lower to be qualified for IMU Chennai admission for BTech in Marine Engineering. Please note that the cutoff ranks vary for different rounds and categories.

IMUCET is Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually by the Indian Maritime University (IMU) for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate maritime programs.
Only citizens of India are eligible to write this exam. Hence if you are a citizen of Nepal, you cannot attempt to write this exam.

The IMU CET 2026 application fee is as follows:
Application Fee for Registration for BBA:
- INR 200 for General /General-EWS/ OBC (NCL) candidates
- INR 140 for SC / ST candidates.
For all other UG and PG Programme/ Research Programmes:
- INR 1000 for General /General-EWS/ OBC (NCL) candidates
- INR 700 for SC / ST candidates

Yes, you can apply for IMU CET. But make sure at te time of IMU CET counselling you have completed class 12 and have passed the board exams. Make sure to check the eligibility criteria needed for the course you wish to apply for.
