The IMU CET 2026 application fee is as follows:
Application Fee for Registration for BBA:
- INR 200 for General /General-EWS/ OBC (NCL) candidates
- INR 140 for SC / ST candidates.
For all other UG and PG Programme/ Research Programmes:
- INR 1000 for General /General-EWS/ OBC (NCL) candidates
- INR 700 for SC / ST candidates

Yes, you can apply for IMU CET. But make sure at te time of IMU CET counselling you have completed class 12 and have passed the board exams. Make sure to check the eligibility criteria needed for the course you wish to apply for.

A Diploma in comparable engineering courses with at least 60% marks is a must. Candidates must have a grade of “C” or above from a recognised board. To be eligible, applicants must have a grade of “C” or above from an authorised university.
IMU Kolkata admission to all the programmes is conducted through the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) Only unmarried candidates, up to the age of 25 years are eligible to apply for BTech programme.

With a score of 70% on IMUCET, you may be eligible for B.Tech and B.Sc programs at Indian Maritime University. However, admission is also determined by the overall level of competition as well as the specific cutoff established by the university for that academic year. It's a good idea to look at previous years' cutoffs to get a better idea of your chances.

The selection process for BTech includes IMUCET entrance exam and counseling at Indian Maritime University. The minimum percentage required is 70% and may vary throughout different years. It also has eligibility criteria in qualification which is 10+2 and minimum 60% required in Science stream with mathematics according to new education policy.

The Indian Maritime University (IMU) offers B.Tech in Marine Engineering at its Chennai and Mumbai campuses. The admission is based on the IMU Common Entrance Test (CET) score. According to the IMU academic brochure, the eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Marine Engineering is 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM and a minimum of 50% marks in English. There is a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST candidates, but it does not apply to English marks. The brochure does not specify the required percentile in the IMUCET for admission.
