Automated e-mails/SMS is sent to every IMU CET registered applicant on successful registration of the application. After the IMU CET application fee is paid, candidates can check the dashboard for printing the online form. The online filled-in form must be downloaded for the candidates' reference. Do not send the printout to IMU.

YES! You may be eligible for government colleges. But obtaining a scholarship is difficult. Since you will be sent to a college based on your rank and counseling after passing the IMU CET. You might be eligible for MTI if your rank is high enough. From then, Shipping Corporation of India will sponsor you. On the other hand, obtaining sponsorship on your own is nearly impossible if you attend a college where no businesses are present.

Well, I understand your concern about pursuing B.Sc Nautical Science without giving IMUCET. As per my knowledge, the admission policies and requirements at BP Marine Academy might be subject to change and depend on various factors. However, it's important to note that institutions often have their own admission criteria, and some may provide alternative pathways for entry.

To increase your chances of getting admission without appearing for IMUCET, I would recommend reaching out directly to BP Marine Academy or visiting their official website for the most up-to-date information on their admission process. They may have specific guideline

Congratulations on securing a rank of 471 in IMUCET 2023! Your rank is quite impressive and opens up possibilities for admission to marine engineering in government colleges.

Based on previous years' trends, a rank of 471 should provide you with a good chance of securing admission to marine engineering in some of the prestigious government colleges for maritime studies. However, it's essential to note that the availability of seats and cutoff ranks may vary from year to year.

Some government colleges that offer marine engineering programs and might be within your reach with your rank include:

However, given that you received a 48% in PCM, it's possible that you don't fulfil the minimal standards for admission to some institutions. To find out if your grades satisfy their requirements, it is advisable to carefully examine the eligibility requirements of the individual institutes you are interested in.

Congratulations in scoring 9,936 marks in IMUCET and best wishes for your further studies.
