There have been many advancements in electronics field but the job opportunities in the core field are limited.
Nowadays, most of the ECE engineers are being recruited for IT roles rather than core jobs. If you want to get a job in the core field you have to be extra-ordinary in both academics and extra-curriculars, then only you can stand out from the crowd. For getting into best companies first try to get into well reputed institutes like IITs, NITs, BITS and other CFTIs. Have a decent CGPA of at least 8.5+. You can definitely do two courses, but then one could be regular degree and other one distance degree. This could be done at the same time.

Nearly impossible to get admission now because all the admission proceedings have ended. But you can try in some private ones which are situated on the outskirts of Delhi. They intake of students is till mid September. Some of the institutes includes Manav Rachna, Galgotia and Amity.
