In my opinion, salary package should be the last option. Before that try to evaluate college on other important parameters like which all faculty members there how many are full time and how many are visiting faculty, which kind of industrial visits are conducted and how many of the guest visit the school from the industry to give guidance on current market senerio, what is the course curriculum, how well equipped is the library, what is the infrastructure and so on.

For agriculture engineering, very few colleges are available and Pusa college is good.

There are a lot of opportunities available for pharmacists in both government as well as private sector. The pharmacists can work both in central government, state government departments and in private industries.
