AILET exam mainly requires time management. Write mocks frequently. Focus on GK and Reasoning. It is important that you must know your weakness and work hard too in that subject. Don't try to attempt all, select questions and try to solve maximum, and mark the rest casually.

Since, both the colleges are new so its tough to compare in between, but in my opinion, you must need to go with Vellore campus if you are considering VIT.
