If you want to work in an Airlines as Service & Maintenance engineer you will have to obtain Aircraft Engineers licence on a particular type of aircraft. If you want to work on aircraft you may evaluate taking Commission in Indian Air Force technical branch Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical) for which you are eligible on completion of your Mechanical engineering degree.
