i would say it depends on his interest but since he has scored 62% u should go for BBE ( bachelor of bussiness economics ) and then u can go for MBA ( accounting and finance) u can also choose to go for BBA if u want.

UPES dehradun is the best for Energy management , oil and petroleum management, Metallurgy, Procurement. Placement scenarios are good and Internship opportunity are decent.

I think it is NIT Patna. you have state quota as you belong to Bihar but your score is low if you are in unreserved category but you should apply for it. hopefully you will get the seat. All the best

you should check out Cutoffs of few Government college of last year which will be easily available from Google, you have almost marks and look like you will get .
