Yes, the part-time PhD course candidates need to visit the IIFT Delhi campus on weekends. The classes are conducted for this course on weekends at the institute. It is necessary that the enrolled candidates take classes and appear for them as per the schedule given by the institute. The schedule is provided by IIFT. It shall be uploaded on its official website (iift.ac.in) as well. Aspirants can also visit the campus in person to enquire regarding the same.

The seat intake for all three PhD programmes (full-time and part-time) at IIFT Delhi is 15. The seat allocation procedure is carried out in accordance with the seat intake, category of the candidate, overall scores, etc. It must be taken into consideration that the given seat intake is as per unofficial sources. Every candidate must decide on the number of mock tests according to their own ability, strengths and weaknesses viz. the IIFT syllabus. However, it is recommended that candidates must practice at least 25 to 30 IIFT mock tests during exam preparation to reach 99 percentile level.

Ideally, six to eight hours daily is what experts recommend for IIFT exam preparation, but since working professionals can’t devote that many hours, they should at least strive to devote four hours every day. They can study for longer hours on Saturday and Sunday. By striking a balance between weekdays and weekends, working professionals can crack the IIFT exam.
