Hi Pritam! Since IIFM is a sectoral institute and one of its kind, therefore, you should give a genuine and proper reason in your SOP for choosing this institute. Avoid focusing on any subject about which you don't have proper knowledge, as there lies a probability of questions being asked based on those subjects. All the best.

Hi Shubhankar! Congrats for getting a call. At interview, a candidate is expected to know about the concepts related to his /her graduation subjects. General awareness is also expected from the candidate. For WAT process, you need to have a depth in general awareness.

Hi Sakshi! Congrats for getting a call. For PI, the interviewer can ask questions related to your subjects and current affairs. They can also ask about famous personalities. This year, IIFM is conducting WAT, not GD.

Hi Shikhar ! Congrats for getting selected for WAT/PI. For WAT, they give generalized questions. They give topics for writing in which you can write about your own views. Basically, you should focus on current affairs. They generally ask about the issues or news, which are going on presently or other important issues. All the best.

Hi Pritam! Congrats for getting a call. If your WAT and PI go well, then there will be a chance to get a seat. But, during the process of WAT and PI , your answers should satisfy the interviewer. The interviewer during PI tries to confuse the candidate. During this process, they observe the reaction of the candidate. So, selection depends upon many factors. But, for now, you focus on your preparation. Read about the famous personalities like Baba Amte, Amartya Sen, and others. Also, go through various recent news. Read the topics related to your education background. Prepare well and give your best. All the best.

Hi Divya ! The cut off for this year in IIFM for General category is 78 percentile and your score is bit less than the cut off. So, that is the reason, why your CAT ID was not in the PDF provided by the college. Thus, there is no chance to get a call by post. Hope for the next time. All the best.
