IIMC Delhi offers admission to MA programme based on CUET-PG scores. The institute gives 85% weightage to the entrance-exam. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round. 15% weightage is given to PI round conducted by the institute. Besides, aspirants must complete their graduation for admission to MA.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication Delhi provides financial support to needy students. Half/ quarter freeships are available for each PG Diploma course on merit-cum-means basis at Delhi and all regional campuses. A committee selects the deserving candidates for the freeship. For applying for fresships, the annual household income mentioned in the application form should be supported and income certificate issued by revenue office should not be below the rank of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM).

IIMC Delhi's recording and editing and non-linear digital video editing systems are the best. IIMC has extensive facilities and over two dozen DSLR cameras. The auditorium has 400 plus seating capacity. The institute consists of wellness centres and yoga centres, banks, ATMs, and consists of various hostel facilities.

IIMC Delhi is a goverenment university which was established in 1965. Being a government institute, the fee is not very high and is made affordable by the means of the scholarships. This governemnt isntitute offers PG and PG Diploma courses to students. These courses are provided across Media Business Studies, Journalism, and various other streams.

The parent accommodation facility is necessary as the institute is visited by oustation students. These outstation students are accompanied by their parents. However, there is no such information on the official website of the college. The dedicated parent accommodation facility on the campus of IIMC Delhi however can change a great deal of things for the students.

Yes, IIMC Delhi offers various scholarships to students as financial assistance. These scholarships ensure that the students are provided equl opportunity to study.
