Candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognised University/Institute
And should clear IIMC exam and the cutoff rank for general category is 119 as per 2022 year and it is expected to become less this time

Yes, Indian Institute of Mass Communication offers admission through CUET PG in some of the postgraduate Diploma programmes. Candidates seeking admission in such programmes are required to fill CUET PG application form and appear in CUET PG exam. Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling as per the marks obtained in CUET PG. A cut off for such courses is released and the candidates are given admission accordingly.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication issues an e-prospectus every year, which contains all the information related to the IIMC Entrance Exam. Candidates can find every information related to entrance exam and the course information such as IIMC exam schedule, instructions regarding application process, evaluation methodology, eligibility criteria, selection criteria, courses offered at the institute, fee structure, number of seats for each course, reservation details etc. This e-prospectus is usually uploaded on the website a few days after the commencement of the admission process.

Candidates need to appear for the CUET PG exam to get admission in some of the PG Diploma courses offered at Indian Institute of Mass Communication. These courses are: PG Diploma in Hindi Journalism, PG Diploma in Radio and TV Journalism (Bilingual- English & Hindi), PG Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations (Bilingual- English & Hindi), PG Diploma in English Journalism and PG Diploma in Digital Media. Those clearing the CUET PG exam are required to attend the counselling conducted by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.

Admission to IIMC Delhi PG Diploma and MA courses is now through CUET-PG conducted by NTA. Hence, students need to prepare as per the syllabus of this national-level examination. The question paper consists of 100 questions and the question paper is divided into two parts. Yes, a candidate can apply through online mode. IIMC Delhi accepts online applications through its official website. This registration process shall be carried out after the declaration of CUET-PG application process and candidates who meet the cutoff can apply. Aspirants need to fill in the application form with details such as name, parent’s name, educational details, etc. Further, to submit the form, aspirants have to pay an application fee. The application fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking. Students should keep the receipt with them for future references.

For the PG Diploma courses, CUET-PG is accepted. However, the institute may admit students through its own entrance test. The syllabus of the entrance exam for Journalism courses (Hindi, English and Urdu) comprises questions from General Awareness, Aptitude and Mental Makeup, Language Capability, Analytical and Comprehension Skills, Ethics & Values, and Sensitivity to social issues.
