No, IIT Bombay has not revised the syllabus for UCEED 2026. As per the syllabus for the UCEED exam, the question paper continues to have two parts - Part A and Part B. Also, Part A will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode and will have three sections NAT MSQ, and MCQ). However, Part B has two sections - 1) the Drawing-based section, and 2) the Design Aptitude Section.

The counseling for UCEED 2026 will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. The counseling will be conducted in a centralized manner.

2 years agoThe counseling process for UCEED 2026 will be conducted by IIT Bombay as a Joint Seat Allocation process.
To participate in UCEED 2026 counseling, the candidate must have qualfied in the UCEED 2026 entrance exam and been allocated a merit rank.
This means, if the candidate has failed to qualify Part A exam, he or she will not be allocated a merit rank, and therefore are not eligible to take part in the counseling process.

The cut-off for UCEED is not out yet . It will be released during the seat allotment process.
(Note: only the candidates qualifying the UCEED part A cut-off will be qualified to go for part B ).

Yes, FDDI Noida accepts UCEED scores for admission to its B.Des program. Candidates with a valid UCEED score are exempted from appearing in the FDDI AIST exam. The UCEED score is used for shortlisting candidates for counseling, where they are ranked based on their UCEED score and their performance in the counseling process.

Candidates need to have a prep strategy in place to prepare for Part A and Part B of the CEED exam. While formulating a CEED preparation plan, candidates need to keep in mind important topics to study in order to ace each section of the design entrance test. Aspirants should also go through past years' CEED question papers while preparing for the exam.

Yes, IIT Bombay conducts Common Entrance Exam for Design or CEED for admission to MDes programme. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted in online mode. It is a three-hour exam conducted once in a year. Candidates shortlisted based on CEED rank have to also appear for IDC written test conducted by the institute. The shortlisted aspirants are further require to come for an interview round for final selection.
