Candidate needs to remember following points about Part B question paper of UCEED.

• Part B will include TWO questions. Question for section will be shown on the computer monitor.
•  Candidate, after reading the question, has to write/ draw the answer option in the answer booklet provided by the invigilator.
• Part B test will evaluate the drawing ability and Design Aptitude of the candidate.
• Part B is mandatory and will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies for Part A.
• The cut-off marks for Part A will be declared by IIT Bombay before the declaration of results.

Only such candidates who belong to the PwD category are allowed to use the services of a scribe. The candidate can use scribe services only for Part A. However, using the services of a scribe is not allowed for Part B. It is because Part B of the question paper is used to evaluate the candidates drawing skill. The candidate can select their category (PwD in this case) at the time of filling out the UCEED 2026 application form. In case of candidates belonging to any other category than PwD, scribe services is not allowed.

UCEED question paper will have questions from Numerical Answer Type (NAT) in Section 1. There will be 18 questions of 4 marks each. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. 

Candidates can report any issue faced while filling UCEED application form by clicking Report Problem tab that is present on the right side of UCEED application window. 

On clicking tab, candidates will have to explain problem that they are facing. They are also required to mention their registration number. It is advised that candidates not wait until the last minute to fill the form.

IIT Hyderbad cutoff 2024 for the BDes course is out. UCEED exam is the basis on which IIT Hyderabad offers admission to the BDes course. Candidates with a valid UCEED cutoff are called for the round-wise UCEED Counselling. Obtaining All India Rank (AIR) 2735 in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced may never be a ticket to an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). UPES DAT exam will include objective-type (multiple-choice) questions. However, note that no official syllabus is released  for UPES DAT 2025 exam. So, aspirants can consider going through topics related to the BDes programme as shown below:

• Current Affairs
• Logical reasoning 

UPES DAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for admission to design programs offered by the college. The UPES DAT exam includes a Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

The Design Aptitude Test will be conducted in an online mode. 

Aspirants who clear this admission round then need to appear for the interviews and portfolio round. 

The final result will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT, interviews and portfolio round.

Application form for UPES DAT 2026 has to be filled online. Application forms are open for all programmes. Steps to fill the form are mentioned below.

1. Go to admission portal and click on the application link
2. Enter your name, DOB, gender, nationality, mobile number, email ID, and programme of study to register 
3. On registration, an applicant account will be created.
4. Log in and fill in the rest of the form.
5. Pay the application fees to complete the application process.
