The CEED syllabus was revised in the previous edition.
It is very important for the candidate to solve previous years’ question papers. The reason being the question papers will help the candidate identify the types of questions asked, marking scheme, difficult level, etc.
Considering the syllabus for CEED has been revised, the candidate may solve only those questions that are still included in the topic. Carefully go through the revised syllabus and check out the topics; identify the topcis that are same as last year. You can use the question papers and solve questions for the common topics.

The topics listed in the CEED syllabus is indicative in nature. Also, the syllabus is exhaustive in the sense that questions may be asked from all or some of the topics. So, the candidate can’t skip any topics when preparing for CEED.
The candidate is urged to go through the previous years' question papers to get an idea about the paper structure and types of questions asked. That being said, keep in mind that the syllabus has been revised for CEED.

Candidates must report any issue faced by them while filling the CEED application form by clicking on the 'Report Problem' tab that is present on the right side of the application process windows. The tab is highlight in yellow colour. On clicking this tab, candidates had to elaborate on the problem that they are experiencing and also mention their registration number.
It was recommended that candidates fill out the form as soon as possible and don't wait for the last few days. It is because students could face server or other such issues which could delay or hinder the application process.

To appear in the CEED 2027 exam, the candidate must have passed a degree, Diploma, or postgraduate degree exam of a minimum three years. There is no upper age limit or limit on the number of attempts for appearing in CEED.

Candidates can request for a change in the test city and the same will be accommodated by authorities provided there is a valid reason. To change the CEED 2025 exam city, candidates need to make a request to the office of the Chairperson, IIT Bombay within the stipulated time. The CEED 2025 exam will be conducted in 27 cities across the country. Each of these cities can have one or more exam centres. The name of the exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.

Candidates can know the status of their CEED 2026 application form on the official registration portals of the exam. In a situation wherein any more information or document is required then the CEED office gets in touch with aspirants through their registered email. It may be note that complete applications will be rejected.
The candidate must carefully go through the step-wise process to fill out the form.

IIT Bombay will release the admission schedule for the CEED 2027 exam, including the application start and last dates, at the time of the release of the application form. The CEED application form will open from October 01, 2026 till November 05, 2026 with regular fees.

IIT Bombay revised syllabus for the UCEED exam in the previous edition. As per the revised syllabus, the exam conducting released the part-wise topics that candidates needed to prepare for the exam. It also released some information related to the new exam pattern, for instance the Part B now includes two questions (instead of one), while the test duration for the part was increased to 60 minutes (from 30 minutes). IIT Bombay released the full details about the UCEED in its information brochure. Note that the information brochure was released on its official website.

UCEED Part A question paper will include three sections. Of these three sections, Section 3 will include 28 multiple choice questions. Each of these questions will carry 3 marks. 0.71 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The total marks for this section is 96. Each MCQ will have four options. Out of these four options, only one is correct.
