Hi, Firstly for opting for any engineering Bachelor you have to give entrance exam. B.Tech IT s an undergraduate academic degree offered in India which focuses mainly on computers and technology. It's a 4 year course covering to 8 semesters. The minimum eligibility for this course is an intermediate or 10 + 2 (Science (PCB/PCMB)from a recognised board or university and entrance exam or equivalent exam.

If your scores are really good in JEE Main exam or any engineering entrance exam, then you must surely go for BE IT. But, B.Sc CS is also a good option if you want to complete your UG in 3 years and start earning quickly. The decision is purely on the basis of your score and your interest. All the best.

Hi, Mathematics is a compulsory subject for getting into IT field. If you didn't take Maths as a subject in your junior college, you're not eligible for this course. Some colleges do allow, but there the eligibility criteria is that only Science stream students can apply as it's a scientific field. Hope this helps.

Getting a seat in IT is possible though can't be sure about CS. CS cutoff in DTU is quite high. The cutoff for IT is also high but finger crossed. You stand a chance. Good Luck.

Hello Subham Acharya,
Thakur College of Engineering and Technology situated in a suburb of Mumbai in Maharashtra admit students for courses in engineering based on the guidelines issued by Directorate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra. What this means is that for getting admission into this college you have to appear for and clear the entrance exam for engineering colleges in Maharashtra called mht CET. Yes, you are eligible for a Diploma in information technology. There is no issue of passing out in 2015.
