For a total fee of around ₹2.2 Lakhs for two years, the MCA programme gives you great ROI. You get access to the university's centralized placement cell (CPDD) which brings in over 1200+ recruiters annually. If your coding skills and practical projects are strong, cracking a 6-8 LPA package is very manageable.

That entirely depends on the student and the career path they'd like to take. A Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree is more practical and uses a skill-based learning model. It is ideal for candidates interested in software development. A BSc CS degree is more theoretical and focuses on algorithms and mathematics. This degree is ideal for students interested in research work and a master's degree after graduating.

The total cost kind of depends on the program and also the hostel option you pick. For a normal 3-year undergraduate setup at LPU, the tuition fees change from course to course, but the hostel charges usually sit around ₹70,000 to ₹2,00,000 each year, it depends on the room setup (shared or single, air-cooled vs air-conditioned). If we add tuition plus hostel, then the overall amount over three years is typically ₹6 lakh to ₹12 lakh, and this is without mess fees ,and other daily personal expenses. If you tell me your exact course like BCA, BBA , B.Sc. or something similar , I can give you a more accurate estimate.

Yes, in some cases it could be possible to join LPU even after you finish 1st year of BCA, but honestly it really depends on what LPU allows under their migration / credit transfer rules. Also it matters whether your earlier college and the specific subjects you studied, match the required criteria. If you are eligible, LPU will review your academic record, then they will decide what credits , if any can be considered for transfer. And if credit transfer isn't possible then you might need to take admission again from the first year. So its better to call or mail the admissions office with your mark sheets along with the course syllabus
