Yes, you can still get admission to DIET Dumkal without WBJEE, but only through management quota:

10% of B.Tech seats are reserved for management quota—these don't require WBJEE rank .

However, you must have passed 10+2 with PCM and meet eligibility (45% aggregate) .

For lateral entry, Diploma or B.Sc + JELET qualification works.

Direct management admissions typically involve contacting the college admissions office, paying higher fees, and submitting required documents.

Yes, Sri Vasavi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SVIET) is open now and taking admissions against 2025- 26 (B.E./B.Tech). The future students will be able to apply in two ways: either they will have to take part in the *AP EAMCET 2025 counselling* (which is likely to begin tentatively in July 23-27, 2025) or they will need to use the *Management Quota* and directly apply to the institute. To receive the latest information on the application, it is recommended to visit the official SVIET web-site.

There is mixed opinion over the food quality at the hostel mess of SVIET. It can be said to be well-received in general, labeled commonly as such as *hygienic* and *above average* by some, yet by other individuals, it is simply described as being only *adjustable* or *not excellent* in taste, due to the inability to provide consistent variety and some samples of repetition. A non-vegetarian menu is normally offered one or two times a week. All in all, it is something to sustain us, however, the views of students on its palatability and thrill differ.

The institution also has facilities such as qualified faculty, modern labs, and an industry-aligned curriculum in other disciplines such as CSE and AI/ML. Into focused skills training, SVIET also offers extensive amount of pre-placement training as well as placement support to the companies such as TCS and Wipro.
