| After 10th Diploma | Candidate must have passed the 10th standard (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute. Candidate appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination are also eligible to apply. Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2008 and there is no upper age limit. |

CIEM - Calcutta Institute Of Engineering & Management has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| BBA | Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. |
| BCA | Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer Application / Statistics as one of the subjects from any recognized board |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized college/ university. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2022. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2005. There is no upper age limit. |
