Institute of Engineering Eligibility

KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology offers two years of postgraduate-level M.Tech courses. KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology MTech is a two-year course offered only in Artificial Intelligence. The postgraduate-level course is spread across four semesters and offers advanced knowledge in AI. To secure admission to the M.Tech course candidates must have valid qualifications which are as follows:

• BTech in Computer Engineering / Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, with 50% aggregate (45% minimum in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
• For sponsored candidates, a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

To be eligible for the B.E. / B.Tech programs at Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management (CIEM), candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate, specifically in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

Entrance Examination: Admission is based on performance in entrance exams such as WBJEE or JEE Main.
