If you are applying for any degree course, you cannot apply for direct admission. To be admitted to a degree programme such as the B.Sc. you must take the NCHMCT JEE exam. On the other hand, if you are applying for any Certificate or Diploma course offered by a particular IHM, you can apply for direct admission.

The faculty is very supportive and very educated. They are all working in good 5-star hotels 30:70. Term exams were semester wise and there was an internal assessment that helps students in knowing the pattern. It is the best college in Mumbai.

IHM Mumbai has a placement cell that ensures placement assistance to every student. It is also responsible for conducting on-campus placement drives and organises a wide range of activities such as industry visits, live projects, workshops, guest lectures and seminars. Candidates are advised to participate in all institute-sponsored events. Additionally, there is quality online content available on the internet for students to prepare for the interview questions. Additionally, the individual should work on improving their interpersonal and communication skills.

The IHM Mumbai placement report 2023 is yet to be released on the official website. Once, it is released, the placements details for the Class of 2023 will be updated here. However, in 2021, over 119 students were placed in reputed hotels and food companies. The same is tabulated below:
