Students have to meet the Geeta Institute of Law eligibility to get admission in the institute. The common eligibility is as below:
- GIL Panipat eligibility for BA LLB & BBA LLB - Class 12 with 45% (40% for SC/ ST)
- GIL Panipat eligibility for LLB - UG degree with 45% (40% for SC/ ST)
- GIL Panipat eligibility for LLM - LLB with a minimum aggregate of 50%

Geeta Institute of Law generally offers admissions through entrance basis. Students may either appear for GLAT or skip the exam and submit scores of CLAT/ AILET, etc. However, students can contact the Geeta College of Law admission desk to know more.

MS Ramaiah College of Law does not give scholarship to EWS students. Nirma University gives a scholarship of INR 2 Lacs each to 15 students whose parents have an annual income of INR 4 Lacs or less and a scholarship of INR 1 Lacs each to 15 students whose parents have an annual income of INR 8 Lacs or less.

For admission in BCom LLB at Institute of Law, Nirma University, it is mandatory for the eligible candidate to take the CLAT exam. On the other hand, MS Ramaiah College of Law conducts its own entrance test and interview round for selection in BCom LLB. Ramaiah College may exempt students from its RCL Admission Test if the candidate has secured 50% or above in the CLAT exam but taking CLAT exam is not compulsory for admission in its integrated law courses.

The annual tuition fee for BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law is INR 2.2-2.4 Lacs where as it is INR 3.5 Lacs in Institute of Law, Nirma University. Thus, BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law is more economical.

The latest placement report at Institute of Law, Nirma University did not specifically mention BCom LLB placements but the general placement report had the highest and average package of INR 19.5 LPA and INR 6.58 LPA, respectively with more than 70 companies who visited the college and placement rate of 82%.
