Ragging is a criminal offence.
As per Supreme Court's judgement, any student found indulging in ragging will be rusticated
from the university and would be liable for legal action.Anyone found indulging in ragging will face immediate expulsion from the university and will also be debarred from pursuing course from any other institution.
It is mandatory for all students to submit an undertaking on a stamp paper (Rs. 10/-) stating
that they will not indulge in any form of ragging activities to their respective deans and HOD's within one week of commencement of classes.
Apart from this, seniors in BVIMR are very welcoming and friendly.They will not be your seniors but good friends and guide to help you though out your college journey .

As of now BVIMR conducts its own entrance exam i.e. BMAT.
BMAT is a merit based exam. The pattern for entrance exam is- written test comprises of 200 marks. There will be 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each with four alternatives, with single correct or most probable answer. There is no negative marking. The break-up of marks will be as follows: A) Written Test Questions Marks i) Current Affairs - 20 ii) Mathematics at X level - 30 iii) Logical and Abstract Reasoning - 50 Iv) Computer Awareness - 20 V) Verbal Ability and Reading comprehension - 40 Vi) Quantitative Aptitude 20 20 vii) Management Skill 20 20 Total 200 Group Discussion and Interview Test i) Performance in Group Discussion 30 ii) Performance at Interview 20 Total 50 . Coming to the difficulty level you can appear for BMAT with ease if you have prepared for CAT and other MBA entrance exams thoroughly .
