Institute of Management Studies, BHU selection criteria is primarily entrance-based. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of several parameters, such as entrance exam scores, academic merit secured in the last qualifying exam, performance in institute-level Group Discussion + Personal Interview. The institute accepts national-level entrance test, such as CAT for admission to its MBA course. Further, IMS BHU PhD admission is done on the basis of CRET and Non-CRET scores.

Yes, Institute of Management Studies at Banaras Hindu University, aka IMS BHU is considered a good institute for MBA course.
