The following requirements must be met in order to be admitted to the M.Tech programme at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University:
- A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from an accredited university is a prerequisite for candidates.
- It is necessary to receive a minimum proportion of the AICTE-mandated marks or an equivalent CPI in the qualifying exam.

The eligibility criteria for MBA at Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination from any central or state level recognised board with at least 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Mathematics is a compulsory subject.
- Candidates must have a valid score in one of the following entrance exams: NTA, JEE Main, CUET, CBSE 12th, UP 12th.
