Yes, the GMR Institute of Technology, also known as GMRIT, has a proper placement cell that works for the student's placement. To improve the ability of the students, the placement cell conducts campus interviews, internships, and skill development programs. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro offer placements to the students from this college and their records prove this fact. For the B.E. / B.Tech programs, the college maintains a record cumulative placement of 80% and more for all the years.
