The cutoff marks of SJM Institute of Technology (SJM IT) differs course by course and entrance test. For B.Tech it usually goes from 10,000 – 40,000 ranks only, though Computer Science is the most popular and thus students can expect to fall in a lower rank. While COMEDK it has cutoff ranks in between 15000 to 50000. Again, cutoffs may vary from year to year depending on issues such as the number of seats available and the number of applicants.

Yes, for the management you can get direct admission to SJM Institute of Technology (SJMIT). For this, the candidates must fulfill the prerequesite qualifying criteria such as 10+2 (PCM) minimum 45% for B.E/B.Tech courses. Management quota fee is comparatively higher than those who have qualified in KCET or COMEDK entrance tests. Admission is normally on seat availability and other institutional requirements that may include and/or are not limited to —.

SJM Institute of Technology (SJMIT) does not provide full scholarship to all students as it cannot afford to do so. But it offers merit and government scholarships like fee reimbursement to the SC/ST category or economically weaker ones. Partial fee waivers may also be given to candidates who scored high on their KCET/COMEDK test. The scholarships co-curricular are available every year and are determined by the government programs and institutional norms.

Yes, though it is better if a student scores well in the COMEDK UGET exam, one can join SJM Institute of Technology (SJMIT) to take up the B.E./B.Tech course through the KCET seat or Management seat. When you opt for management quota you don't need to fulfil eligibility criteria but the fees will be relatively much higher in comparison to the students selected through entrance examinations.
