That is a great question and I will break it down for you. To get admission to CU, your 12th-grade academic records matter a lot. Good scores in your 12th-grade exams make you eligible for scholarships.
If you have scored 90% you get 50% of semester fees. 85 to 89% get a 20% discount. 80 to 84% Get a 20% discount.
Now let's talk about CUCET. While it is not mandatory for admission to interior design programs, CU has opened it up for all students.
It is a chance to grab additional scholarships based on your performance in CUCET.
In the end, you will be eligible for the highest scholarship among both categories.

B.Arch Interior Design: Eligibility Criteria
Students who wish to pursue B.Arch Interior Design courses must meet up with the following eligibility criteria. The minimum marks required in the 10+2 may vary from college to college. Aspiring students should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination. The candidates should have passed their 10+2 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a reasonably high percentage of marks (minimum 50% and 45% for SC/ST in aggregate). It depends on institutes to colleges and universities, generally, there's an entrance process to applying for Designing Courses. Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course.
