No. The authorities will not release the official CEPT syllabus online. The candidates will have to prepare for the entrance examination by studying the subjects and topics that they have studied in their undergraduate years. The course-wise syllabus of the undergraduate degree will be considered by the authorities while preparing the CEPT question paper. Yes. The authorities will conduct personal interviews to select candidates for admission into the courses offered by the Univesity. While exceptional candidates will be given direct admissions, the other candidates will have to sit for a personal interview and secure a green light from the authorities for admission. Candidates are advised to check the details regarding the CEPT admission process and weightage carefully.

During the Stage 2 of CEPT admission process, the candidates will be allotted in the remaining seats. It is also to be noted that the score secured in the Stage I of the admission process cannot be carried forward to Stage II. All candidates will have to be physically present at the campus for Stage II of the admission process. The weightage for Part A (Test) and Part B (Personal Interview) is 60% and 40%, respectively.

During the Stage 1 of CEPT admission process, candidates with exceptional performance will be offered direct admissions. Other candidates will have to appear for a personal interview round to be shortlisted for admission. The candidate's CV and Work experience will be given 5% weightage, while the last qualifying exam will be given 10% weightage. The submitted statement of purpose and recommendation letters will be given 15%, while the candidate's portfolio will be given 50%.

The authorities will release the CEPT entrance exam pattern online at admissions.cept.ac.in. Candidates will be able to check the details regarding how the entrance exam will be held through the CEPT exam pattern. The authorities will not use any other mode to release the exam pattern of CEPT. All candidates are advised to carefully check the CEPT exam pattern so that they are able to know how the exam will be conducted and accordingly prepare for it.

The Cutoff marks for B.Des ( Bachelor of Interior Design ) at Shantaben Manubhai Patel School of Studies and Research in Architecture and Interior Design ( SMAID ) are given below :

B.Des ( Bachelor of Interior Design ) is a four year course. The tution fees is approximately INR 2.4 Lakh in total. The median package is around INR 2.2 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum) at SMAID. There are thirty seats for B.Des at SMAID.

The official CEPT exam cities have not been announced yet. However as per the previous year information, the candidates can expect the entrance exam to be held in Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhopal, Delhi and Ahmedabad. The detailed information regarding the CEPT 2024 exam cities will be available here as soon as it is released by the official authorities.

Through the CEPT result, the candidates will be able to check the list of candidates who have been shortlisted for the admission process. The candidates will be selected as per their performance in the CEPT entrance exam and personal interview. Based on their merit rank and preferences, the candidates will be allotted seats during the CEPT counselling process.

Before downloading the CEPT result/merit list, the candidates are advised to check all of the details for any mistakes. In case of any mistakes, the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities. The corrections in the CEPT result should be immediately done. However, the authorities will not accept requests to make changes in the scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination.

To access the CEPT result, the candidates will not require any login credentials. The authorities will release the CEPT result in the form of PDFs. First, the candidates will have to visit the official website at admissions.cept.ac.in and click on the result link. The CEPT result/merit list will be displayed on the screen and the candidates are advised to download it for future use.
