IIIT Bangalore has an excellent placement structure. During this year's placement drive, the highest and average packages were INR 150 and 37.01 LPA. CSE branch of iMTech received the highest salary offers. The top recruiters during IIIT Bangalore placements included Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, IBM, HSBC, and several others.

IIIT Bangalore is very conveniently and accessibly located. Students can reach the college by road, Rail or Air. From Bangalore Railway Station, take a 1-hour drive to reach the campus of IIIT Bangalore. From KI airport Bangalore, drive for 2 hours to reach the institute campus.
