Executive PGDM is an 18-month full-time General Management programme, including 12-month course work and six-month project work. There will be five trimesters of approximately three months each. The first four trimesters would be by way of classroom learning (along with industry engagement in different forms and styles) and in the last two trimester students are required to carry out an in-depth field project work in their chosen field of interest. The total seat intake for Executive PGDM course is 350 as per an unofficial source. IMI Delhi shortlists candidates based on entrance exam score. The institute considers CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, etc. for providing admission. Candidates without any of the Management entrance exam scores would be admitted provisionally based on their performance in IMI Admission Test but they have to necessarily clear one of the abovementioned tests within six months of joining the programme. The shortlisted aspirants are called for an interview round. Candidates need to confirm their seat by paying a course fee.

The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 2,200 plus 18% GST. In addition, if the applicant desires to apply for another course at IMI New Delhi; then the candidate is required to pay INR 500 per course. The application processing fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway. IMI Delhi admission to EPGDM course is based on CAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT or XAT score. Check below IMI Delhi PGDM eligibility criteria:
- A pass in three-year bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent in any discipline, including Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education, is required to apply for the PGDM course.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree or equivalent can also apply provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility by September 30 of the admission year.
- An applicant may be a graduate without any work experience or with relevant work experience from any discipline of education.

The PGDM course at IMI Delhi is of two years duration. IMI follows a trimester system and each course consists of six trimesters. Each trimester, is of 11-12 weeks duration. The academic calendar begins early July. Apart from the six trimesters students are required to undergo a compulsory Summer Internship Programme (SIP) at the end of the first year.
