Freshman students starting at Iowa State University should know the following:
- The students should have a view of the campus and its facilities which includes the university clubs that they can join as well. Some of the major buildings of the campus are Marston Water Tower, Campanile, University Museum and many more. The university has the Ames Laboratory which is also a research centre used by the US Department of Energy.
