IPMAT 2018 Eligibility
Candidates applying for IPMAT 2018 should ensure that they comply by the eligibility criteria of the examination. Applications that do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials. The eligibility criteria has been approved by IIM Indore- the exam conducting body.
The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2018 is as follows:
- The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of General and NC-OBC category. Also, the candidate should be of maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2018
- The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) category
- Earlier, the candidate should have had Mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examinations. However, this criteria has now been removed. Candidates who do have Mathematics as their core subject can also apply for the examination
State Wise Eligibility Criteria for General and NC?OBC category
- Candidates applying for the exam should have obtained an aggregate of 60% in both class 10th and class 12th or the overall score of SAT1 should be 1600 out of 2400
- Candidates who will be appearing for class 12th examination or are waiting for the results can also apply for the examination
- The candidate should not be more than 20 years of age as on July 31, 2018
SC, ST and PWD/DA category
- Candidates applying for the exam should have obtained an aggregate of 55% in both class 10th and class 12th or the overall score of SAT1 should be 1475 out of 2400
- Candidates who will be appearing for class 12th examination or are waiting for the results can appear for the examination
- The candidate should be exceed 22 years of age as on July 31, 2018
