Honestly, your 10th grade is something which is unnecessary here. You need to get through the entrance exam and for that, you must have very good vocational skills and must be good at mathematics. Also, get yourself updated with current affairs and also have a good general knowledge.
All the best.

Read books and watch online shows that can enhance and improve your vocabulary. Also, get your base of mathematics a little stronger. Even if you change your mindset later, increasing your vocabulary and quantitative skills will help you for any examination ahead in life. Also, get updated with the latest news and current affairs taking place.

Hello, It is good you are starting early. You can never be sure of the changes. This year for example a new section of 'quantitative ability short answers' was added which was non MCQ and posed difficulties for many. But you can always prepare for the basics. You have good 2 years.
1. Enrich your vocabulary. Learn 3 new words each day.
2. Make your fundamentals of Maths very strong. Make sure you have Maths in class 11th and class 12th. Else, you will have to take coaching later, which might not help as much. Focus should be higher Maths.

If you are able to clear the entrance exam for IPM, then the 10th standard GPA won't matter. Go ahead and prepare for IPMAT. All the best.

If you have a decent grip over Maths, Logical Aptitude and English, IPMAT should not be a hard nut to crack. The questions asked in Maths section range from moderate to difficult on the difficulty scale whereas the ones asked in English were all more or less moderate or easy. The question paper usually consists of 60 questions from Maths and Aptitude and 40 questions from English, any person who managed to make 40+ attempts in Maths and 30+ attempts in English with an accuracy rate of around 80% could make it through the AT. However, the IPM interviews are never predictable; and when I say IPM interviews, I mean the interviews themselv

Yes you can opt for drop. It doesn't matter whether the candidate is a fresher or a dropper, if the other remaining criterion are fulfilled, you can very well sit for IPMAT 2019.
Hope that answers the query, if not please elaborate the question a little.
All the best
