Sure, Placement performance of Shri Ram institute of Science and technology are pretty good in the year 2023 around 75% of students got placed in various companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. with a maximum package of 80LPA, avarage salary is around 10LPA, Some students got placed in reputed core companies, like Ralson Tyres, JNIL, etc. More then 50 student got 10 LPA and above package.

First-year students usually get shared rooms (double/triple occupancy). Second-year onwards, students may get single rooms based on availability. Each room comes with a bed, study table, chair, cupboard, and fan. Hostels have WiFi connectivity, common rooms, and laundry services.

No, it is not possible to get admission at IIITDM Jabalpur for BTech without a genuine JEE Main score. Applications have to be made through the JEE Main website and through JoSAA counselling for the allotment of seats. Institute fixes cutoff ranks on the basis of minimum marks obtained by candidates, and within the opening rank and closing ranks, admissions are given. Due to the stiff merit-based criteria followed by IIITDM Jabalpur, JEE Main is compulsory for BTech admission.

No, IITDM Jabalpur does not conduct a separate counselling exam. Admissions to various programs are based on the following:
* B.Tech: JEE Main scores and JoSAA/CSAB counselling process.
* M.Tech: GATE scores and CCMT counselling process.
* B.Des: UCEED scores.
* M.Des: CEED scores.

A list of scholarships which are available at IIITDM Jabalpur includes the Tamilnadu – BC/MBC/DNC Scholarship and the Office of Nodal Officer Scholarship/SPACS. The institute, in many ways, guides the students to get scholarships from the Government of India like Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Science & Technology and others. Currently about 30% of the students get scholarships ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 1,00,000 per annum depending on the scheme and norms prescribed for it.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi is generally considered to be a better college than DNLU Jabalpur.
BHU is a renowned university known for its academic excellence. In 2024, NIRF ranked BHU #11 overall.
If you consider my suggestion choosing a good college would more depend on your distance from that college as well as the course you are choosing for.
