Candidates are allowed to fill as many choices theu want via the JAC Delhi counselling process. As per the eligibility of the candidates, the available seats are displayed on the screen. Candidates need to select the choices as per their preference.

No. There is no maximum or minimum age criteria are prescribed in the JAC Delhi counselling process. Candidates with JEE Main rank can apply for JAC Delhi counselling, however, minimum marks is needed in class12 to be eligibl for JAC Delhi counselling.

The number of seats offered via the JAC Delhi counselling in 2025 was 7,333 B.Tech seats and 90 B.Arch seats.

JAC Delhi is a counselling program for students who want to pursue BE/BTech and BArch degree programs in Delhi. It is conducted for admission to 5 technical universities/institutes that are part of the Government of NCT Delhi. These include:

  1. Delhi Technological University (DTU)
  2. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)

In JAC Delhi counselling, CRL rank is considered and not category rank. In JAC Delhi counselling, Seats are alloted on the basis of JEE main CRL rank.

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship JAC Delhi cutoff 2024 was concluded for Round 1. As per the DESU Round 1 cutoff 2024, the rank needed to get into DESU is between 53292 and 83421. The last round cutoff for DESU BTech in CSE is 53292 for the General All India Category Students. Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the DESU BTech cutoff for the year 2024:

Although there are special reservation benefits for the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) group, cut-offs may still be competitive. Depending on the amount of applications and available seats, previous year statistics indicate that individuals with percentiles around 78 in the General EWS category would have an opportunity to be admitted.

According to the Delhi Technological University Placement report 2023, the highest package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 82.05 LPA and INR 51.03 LPA, respectively. For the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, the median package offered to B.Tech and M.Tech students during the 2023 placements was INR 17 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. According to me, you should go for DTU. NSUT is acknowledged for CSE. ECE at DTU will be a better option.
