Assuming that the term "Jadav University" pertains to Jadavpur University in Kolkata, Chemical Engineering lateral entry seats through the JELET (Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry) are limited.

The B.Tech programme for this branch has around 10-15 lateral entry seats against a total intake of ~105 (first-year seats). This number varies each year according to any number of vacancies that may crop up and is confirmed during counseling.

Jadavpur University (JU) is generally the better choice compared to NIT Agartala. It has a strong reputation for its production engineering department, with a well-established curriculum and good placement opportunities, making it a preferred option over NIT Agartala for this specific branch. You must go for JU instead of NIT.
