Jagannath Community College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| Certificate | Candidates must have Pleasing personality and good communication skills. |
| B.Voc | Candidates must have pleasing personality and good communication skills. |
| UG Diploma | Candidates must have Pleasing personality and good communication skills. |
| BBA | Candidate passed 10+2 in any streams with a total aggregate of not less than mentioned marks from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. |
| BBM/BMS | Candidate passed 10+2 with mentioned marks in best of four subjects including english from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. |
| BCA | Candidate passed 10+2 with mentioned marks in best of four subjects including english from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. |
| M.Sc. | Candidates must have 2 years work experience. or Students are required to provide one of the following: (a) Evidence that they have been instructed and assessed predominantly in English. (b) IELTS 6.5 overall (or above) with no less than 6.0 in any subcomponent (alternative English language test results are also considered). |
| B.Sc. | Candidate passed 10+2 with mentioned marks in best of four subjects including english from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. |
| B.Des | Candidate passed 10+2 with mentioned marks in best of four subjects including english from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidates must have 2 years of work experience. or Students are required to provide one of the following: (a) Evidence that they have been instructed and assessed predominantly in English. | BHM | Candidate passed 10+2 with mentioned marks in best of four subjects including english from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. |
| M.A. | Candidates completed graduation/bachelor's degree from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply. |
