Jai Hind College

Jai Hind College offers a three-year BCom programme in general mode as well as in five different specialisations, namely:

• BCom in Accounting and Finance
• BCom in Financial Markets
• BCom in Banking and Insurance
• BCom in Digital Strategy.

Candidates seeking admission to the BCom are required to meet the Jai Hind College BCom eligibility. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any other Board are eligible for Jai Hind College BCom admission.

The total seat intake for the BA and BA Advertising and Journalism programmes offered at Jai Hind College is 360. The seat reservation for the minority quota will be as per Government norms for Physically Challenged/ Sports/ Cultural/ Ex-Servicemen/ Defense quota category candidates. Applicants must have completed the Maharashtra State Board of Higher & Secondary Education or an equivalent programme from another Board with a minimum cumulative score of 45% (40% reserved category) to be considered for admission to Jai Hind College.

• For students in the general category, the cut-off percentage for the BA programme often falls between 85% and 90%.
• The BSc programme typically has a cut-off rate between 80% and 90%.
• The BCom programme normally demands a percentage between 90% and 95% for the general category.
• Higher cut-offs are normal for (BMM, BMS, BAF, etc.) courses; they range from 90% to 95%.

Jai Hind College application process is done through online mode. There are several documents required to apply for the college. Jai Hind College have both aided and unaided divisions. Arts, Science, and Commerce stream as Aided Courses are offered at UG level and programmes like Finance & Management, Mass Media, BSc (IT), and Biotech are under Unaided Courses.

• Students taking admission to Aided Courses, are supposed to pay only the fee stipulated by the government
• For Unaided courses, college does not get aid from the government for such courses hence, students need to pay entire fee as per JHC fee structure
