Between JECRC (RTU) and BIT Mesra Jaipur, go for BIT Mesra Jaipur if you're serious about placements and academic quality. It has better brand value and industry exposure. JECRC is also decent, but BIT holds more weight if you're thinking long-term. Just check fees and hostel life too before final decision.

based on previous years:
For General category students:
Class 12 PCM scores above 70–75% are typically competitive.
JEE Main percentile in the 65–85 range could make you eligible.
Reserved categories and state quota candidates may have lower cutoffs.

At JECRC College, admissions are taken through REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. The selection is based on JEE Main marks — the higher your JEE score, the better your chances of getting your preferred branch in the counselling process. So if you have a pecentile above 85 then you have higher chances of selection ( cutoff varries according to caste category). But that 60% criteria is for overall class 12th marks.

If you want any core branch, then you can easily get admission, but if you want CS, IT is like branches with 65 percentile, then it becomes tough to get direct admission, for that you have to fill reap form.
