Franklin University is in the US, whereas, Jamia is in Delhi. The tuition fees to study at Franklin Uni is around 12 lakh, whereas for JMI the fees is around INR 47k. So, students can complete their education in India when they study at JMI.

The minimum percentile required for securing a seat at Jamia Hamdard for the general category is 80+. For the B.Tech CSE course, the cut-off for the general category was 95 and for the OBC category, it was 85%. For the CSE branch, it would be better to target 97-98 percentile.

July 14 was the deadline for submitting an application to be admitted to Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) in 2023. The chosen candidates' admissions procedure started on July 10.
Other crucial dates for JMI entrance in 2023 are as follows:
- UG and PG programs: On July 4, the results of the entrance exam were made public.

BSc and BSc (Hons) at Jamia Millia Islamia is available across four and five specialisations, respectively. Jamia Millia Islamia admission to various UG and PG courses such as MA, BA, BTech, etc. is based on JMI Entrance exam. JMI entrance exam scores are applicable for admission to various courses. However, in 2024, the JMI cutoff hasn't been released by the institute for the admission to BTech courses.
