JMI admission is entrance-based. The final selection is based on entrance scores and merit. The university accepts CUET, NEET, JEE Main, NATA, etc. There is no provision for direct admission at JMI.

Yes, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) accepts CUET PG scores for MCA admissions starting from the 2023 cycle onward. For the 2026–27 session, MCA admissions at JMI are routed through CUET PG conducted by NTA, and candidates must apply via the university's admission portal after appearing for CUET PG.

Entrance Exam:
- Admission is based on CUET PG scores (Computer Science/IT paper).
- No separate JMI MCA entrance test is conducted anymore.
