Cut-offs are really high for getting admission in JBIMS. Last year the cutoff for general category went up to 99.88 %.
It is subject to change depending on CAP rounds status.Rank is important to have an estimate, top 50 ranks stand a good chance of converting.

Admission for MMS will be through the CAP rounds conducted by DTE, keep checking the DTE website for updates.
As per last year CMAT scores were considered for the AI seats in JBIMS.

If you can score really well in CET, you can get admission in to JBIMS based on the DTE CAP rounds. The past background will have an impact on the placements shortlisting.

You need to score high in CET for securing admission in JBIMS, the past background will not impact the admissions but can have a impact on the placements shortlisting.

Yes work experience will help you understand concepts better and will/will not impact placements as it is based on other criteria as well.

Yes, there is reservation of seats for physically handicapped candidate, refer the DTE site for the eligibility and details.
