The average package offered during JNU School of Engineering placements 2023 was INR 11 LPA. However, the average package of top ranked (NIRF) IITs such as IIT Bombay and IIT Madras in 2023 stood at INR 21.82 LPA and INR 17 LPA. Other than this, the average package of lower ranked (NIRF) IITs such as IIT Tirupati and IIT Jammu stood at INR 17.58 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively.

As per the report, in the 2022 placements drive for UG 3-year courses, a total of 21 students were placed out of 353 students while 332 students were selected for higher studies. A marginal decline of nearly 1% can be seen in the PG 2-year median package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021. Moreover, many top companies recruit JNU graduates every year.
