No JEE Advanced is not mandatory. The following are the admission channel in IISER for BS MS dual degree program.

- Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced)
- State and Central Boards: Students who have passed (10+2) level with science stream during the current or previous year with marks equal or above the cut-off percentage in their respective boards are eligible to apply.

If the JEE Advanced aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks: Step 1: Candidates having higher positive marks will be awarded higher rank. If the tie breaking criterion at Step 1 fails to break the tie, then the following criterion at Step 2 will be followed. Step 2: Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. No, there is no provision to re-evaluate/re-check JEE Advanced 2026 result. The exam conducting authority will not entertain any correspondence in this regard. Therefore, candidates have to accept the scores of the exam as declared by the authority as the final ones. JEE Advanced 2026 AIR will be used for JoSAA counselling in the allotment of seats in the IITs. Candidates who have secured more than or equal to the JEE Advanced cutoff, i.e. the minimum marks in each subject and in aggregate as prescribed by the IITs, will pass JEE Advanced 2026.

JEE Advanced 2026 result will be out in June 2026.
Candidates can check and download the JEE Advanced 2026 scorecard under their respective login on jeeadv. ac. in. To Download JEE Advanced 2026 scorecard, candidates have to use 7-digit roll number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the 10-digit phone number that they used while registering for JEE (Advanced).
Also, category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the JEE Advanced 2026 online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers.
