There are no specific minimum marks in the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced to get into the Indian Institute of Technology. However, a high Joint Entrance Examination Main score qualifies you for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam. A Joint Entrance Examination Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and a Joint Entrance Examination Advanced score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into the Indian Institute of Technology through the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam. All the IIT aspirants have to sit for JEE Main and afterward, JEE Advanced. Only the top 2, 24,000 scores in JEE Main will become eligible to sit for JEE Advanced. The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards.

I really congratulate you achieving such a good rank in JEE Advanced. For this rank, you can get into any IIT and even with a CSE Branch in good IITs except for CSE Branch in top 5 IITs.

Marks in JEE Advanced do not decide the stream you choose, the rank does. Last year paper was so easy that the people who got 50 to 60% marks did not get a reasonable rank but the paper of 2016 was very hard and scoring more than 50% got students AIR under 2000. So the rank will be decided on the basis of difficulty level of the paper. Between CSE in IIT Bombay closes at around AIR 68. So if you want the best branch in the best college, better start working very hard.
