JEE Advanced Scores

The minimal score needed to be admitted to an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in JEE Advanced depends on a number of factors, such as the category of the candidate, the number of available seats, and the difficulty level of the exam. Generally speaking, individuals who get more than 50% of the potential points in JEE Advanced are considered to have a good chance of getting into the IITs. However, in order to increase their chances of being admitted into a certain IIT and branch, applicants typically aim for scores far higher than this threshold. It's critical to look at trends and previous years' cutoff scores in order to determine a safe score for admission to an IIT.

Getting a chance to compete in JEE Advanced is not that easy. Candidates whose names appear in the JEE Main list of 1 to 2,50,000 rankers regardless of their category are only eligible for writing JEE Advanced. • Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates  (including all categories) in BE/BTech Paper of JEE (Main) exam.
• A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years. The candidates who are appearing for JEE Advanced 2024 for the first time, can also appear for JEE Advanced 2025.
• Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2023 or 2024 are eligible for JEE Advanced 2024.
• A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the programme or accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past.

JEE Advanced 2023 result for admission to IIT Kharagpur and all the other IITs for BTech was announced on the official website on Jun 18, 2023. To check their results for 2023 or upcoming academic years, aspirants must enter their registration number and password. JEE Advanced result includes the qualifying status, total and subject-wise scores, and All India Rank (AIR) of candidates. All students must note that the JEE Advanced rank will be as per their total score in papers 1 and 2. The exam conducting authority also sends a message on the registered mobile number of every test taker regarding the declaration of the result. All candidates must note that they are not going to receive any hard copies of their rank cards. These rank cards can be downloaded from the official website only. 

Hello Amit Kumar, if I may say so your JEE Mains rank at about 2 Lacs 85000 is a bit on the lower side. You have not mention your ranking in JEE advanced but with only 57 marks I am afraid that also could be on the lower side. With these marks I am afraid that your chances of getting admission in any of the IITs are quite low. You have also not mentioned your percentage in JEE Mains but the very fact that you have appeared for JEE advanced indicates that you have scored more than the cutoff as decided by National testing agency.
