JEE Advanced Scores

Getting a chance to compete in JEE Advanced is not that easy. Candidates whose names appear in the JEE Main list of 1 to 2,50,000 rankers regardless of their category are only eligible for writing JEE Advanced. • Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates  (including all categories) in BE/BTech Paper of JEE (Main) exam.
• A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years. The candidates who are appearing for JEE Advanced 2024 for the first time, can also appear for JEE Advanced 2025.
• Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2023 or 2024 are eligible for JEE Advanced 2024.
• A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the programme or accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past.

JEE Advanced 2023 result for admission to IIT Kharagpur and all the other IITs for BTech was announced on the official website on Jun 18, 2023. To check their results for 2023 or upcoming academic years, aspirants must enter their registration number and password. JEE Advanced result includes the qualifying status, total and subject-wise scores, and All India Rank (AIR) of candidates. Hello Amit Kumar, if I may say so your JEE Mains rank at about 2 Lacs 85000 is a bit on the lower side. You have not mention your ranking in JEE advanced but with only 57 marks I am afraid that also could be on the lower side. With these marks I am afraid that your chances of getting admission in any of the IITs are quite low. You have also not mentioned your percentage in JEE Mains but the very fact that you have appeared for JEE advanced indicates that you have scored more than the cutoff as decided by National testing agency. No, there is no provision to re-evaluate/re-check JEE Advanced 2026 result. The exam conducting authority will not entertain any correspondence in this regard. Therefore, candidates have to accept the scores of the exam as declared by the authority as the final ones. JEE Advanced 2026 AIR will be used for JoSAA counselling in the allotment of seats in the IITs. Candidates who have secured more than or equal to the JEE Advanced cutoff, i.e. the minimum marks in each subject and in aggregate as prescribed by the IITs, will pass JEE Advanced 2026.

The scores of JEE Advanced are carefully determined by the authorities. There are no chances of errors in it. For subject-wise scores, the exam conducting authority will consider the total marks obtained in a subject by a candidate in both papers. For example, marks secured by a candidate in the Physics section of both papers will be added to determine the total marks in the subject. The same procedure will be followed for Chemistry and Mathematics. The exam conducting authorities will then calculate the aggregate marks/scores of the candidates in JEE Advanced 2026 on the basis of the total marks secured by candidates in each subject.
