according to my knowledge, all IITs are old.in this rank, you have a fair chance of getting an IIT, with your preferable branch (please check their seat matrix).Changing branch depends upon your performance in first year.

With this rank you are unable to get admission in IIT's. The chances of getting core engineering branches are almost nil if you are from general category! But if from reserved category IIT's are waiting for you! Give it thumbs up ;)
