As per the latest notification from the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), there will be total of 6 rounds for JEE counseling in 2023 through which seat allocation will be done at various NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs:

  1. Round :-  This will be the first round of counseling based on JEE Main ranks.

2.  Round : - This is the second round of seat allocation. Students can change choices submitted earlier.

3. Round 3- : Students who couldn't get a seat allotted in first two rounds are eligible for this third round.

4. Round 4:-  Another chance given to students to obtain seat allocation if they couldn't earlier.

Candidates are assessed on the basis of their performance in NIPER JEE exam and GDPI round. On securing the cutoff marks and rank in the exam, candidates are allotted preferred choice of institute depending upon the availability of seats as well.

No. Students can appear for the NIPER JEE counselling only ONLINE. NIPER institutes conduct the NIPER JEE counselling process in online mode and therefore from registration to the final admission, all the processes are carried out through online portal. Only institute reporting is conducted in offline mode to confirm the admission.

JEE main  2023 conducted in 2 sessions and there will be 6 rounds in JEE MAIN counseling 2023.seat allotment of JEE main round 6, 2023 wa  released on July 26.

Yes of course you can participate in CSAB special round. In fact it is made for such conditions.

Also I'll suggest to fill more choices as there will be high chances of getting a college.
