I think getting a seat in NITs is not possible with this rank. You can't have any expectations from NITs. Try for any GFTI.

Yes, you can and I'll prefer you to withdraw it for sure as in the special round the chances of getting good NIT increases and it might be possible that you might land into the top NIT.

Yes. You can and you should. Go for more than one counseling. Its always a better option to compare the colleges you get from real and JEE. Don't rely only on one examination counseling. Its better to go for multiple counselings.

Yes, you can participate in the counseling, if you have less than cutoff marks. Mains counseling is open for all. But, surely you will not get as good college as those who have scored the cutoff marks.

Yes, it depends upon the colleges' criteria. If the college allowed you, then you will do it. After all, if you did not get a seat in B.Tech, then you will apply for B.Arch in counselling procedures. As it is depending upon the counselling, the college will tell you that you should apply in this field based upon your counselling rank.
