There is no registration fee for taking part in JOSSA counselling. But after getting a seat if you want to accept the seat you have to pay seat acceptance fee and after getting admission through JOSSA conuselling your paid money will be considered as admission fee. Example:- If you paid (x) as seat acceptance fee and institute in which you are going to take admission charging you (y) as an admission fee, then you have to pay (y-x) for admission. If your CRL rank lies under 1.5 lacs, then there are chances to get in DTE.

I hope you are doing good. Going through your questio, you wrote you got zero in JEE. I would like to tell you that it is really difficult to get good college using these marks. You search for some colleges who accept the zero mark. If you don't get good college and still want to go fro Engineering rather than applying for low level criteria college. I recommend you to go for Polytechnic which is a Diploma course.

Hello, JEE Main exam was held on April 8 in offline mode and April 15th & 16, 2018 in the online mode. The JEE Main results would be out on April 30, 2018. The JEE Main counseling 2018 JOSSA would help you to evaluate the marks and get the right engineering college as well as branch.

Please don't lose your hope. Your son scored good marks. Please think about that students who are getting negative mark in JEE so don't worry. On basis of these marks, you can apply directly in any private college. And in the some of the state, you can fill up the counselling form through which you will get college according to your 12th percentage and JEE Mains marks. Just like there is an Counselling process in Rajasthan I.e. REAP through which you will get a college all over the Rajasthan according to the rank or your marks. Similarly, Every state do have same type of counselling processes for the admissions. Hurry up.

No, you can't get NIT or DTU with a score of 45 as for DTU or NIT 150+ score assured you a seat in NIT or DTU. But on 45 score, it is very difficult even in spot-round also.
