If you are quite clear over your concepts then coaching's study materials will be enough for you to score some good marks in JEE Mains and Advanced, however, join any good and reputed test series to get the glimpse of examinations.

Yes, it's the best. You can study for JEE Mains as well as clearing your backlogs simultaneously. Take some tuition or join some class for this to happen successfully.

If you drop one year, you have to study the whole syllabus again.
As you have studied 2 years in coaching, I would suggest you not to join any coaching institute
